Safety
Everybody with some off-road experience knows that off-road motorbike riding offers an increased risk of injury. For your and our safety at Algarve Off road there is the following golden rule: You are primarily responsible for yourself and your passenger.

You participate at your own risk. Algarve Offroad does not accept responsibility for the conduct of individual motorbike riders.

Algarve Offroad aims to impose as few restrictions possible. We don’t like to enforce rules and regulations but we do expect you to use your own common sense, your own ability to gage your own skill and your highly developed sense of responsibility. We have to trust you to let us know if a chosen route is too difficult for you, in which case the route will always be adjusted.

Generally speaking, safety is largely in your own hands; in the event of difficulty it may be comforting to know that:
  • Your guide has a wilderness first-aid certificate
  • We always know exactly where we are, not only because we are so familiar with the terrain but also because we always have a GPS with us.
  • All first-aid posts are clearly indicated
Nonetheless our motto remains: prevention is better than cure
