Offroading from January to December
Because of its pleasant climate all year round we can ride. The temperature is most of the year warm, and there is usually little rain. Excellent conditions for off-road motorcycling. The very best time for riding is spring & autumn. The autumn is also called 'small spring'. After the dry summer the earth is scorched and all is yellow and dead but after the first rain, fresh green grass and flowers will emerge everywhere. The hot summer months of July and August are traditionally reserved for family holidays but the die-hards who want to ride are welcome. Be prepared for a dusty experience and do bring a camel bag with you. Meanwhile I have often heard people say: "it is much greener than I expected". Most of the native plants are evergreens: cork, esteve, medronho, olive trees, citrus trees, pines, eucalyptus trees and several species of agave. Only grasses are more yellow as the summer progresses, but the forests remain green through summer and winter.
Offroad fun for all levels!
Enduro riders come in all levels, from novice to experienced competition riders. Algarve-Offroad can cater for all levels. Although there is no competitive element, there is ample opportunity for each rider to test themselves well. Although not advertised as such we also give in-experienced riders tips and instruction along the way. You will return home a better and safer rider.
Flexibility always!
Again "the sky is the limit" and we are very happy to meet specific needs. It is possible to put together your own program. Basically we try to fullfil every wish, for example a few extra nights booked at the beach for a little extra browning, or a more luxurious accommodation like a villa with swimming pool, a golf course or track days at the new Autodromo do Algarve near Portimão. The race track is in the near vicinity of the Algarve-Offroad base.
